Mindfulness skills are the foundation of ALL the skills you will learn in DBT, and are taught and reviewed at the beginning of EACH group module. The reason for this is to allow you to recognize its importance in ALL aspects of life, not just when it’s convenient.

Mindfulness skills are accessible to anyone, and the skills you learn here will be practical, measurable, and useful. It’s difficult to validate or change what you are not aware of in your behaviors and thinking, and these skills start to awaken and empower you to heal.
